Writing – Level I: అచ్చులు / హల్లులు

  • Test Content:
    • Twenty words will be dictated for participants to write:
      • 5 two-letter words
      • 5 three-letter words
      • 5 four-letter words
      • 5 words with sunna (e.g., అండ)
  • Pronunciation Procedure:
    • Proctors in the room will pronounce each word three times.
    • Approximately 60–90 seconds will be allotted per word.
  • Participant Rules:
    • Participants are not allowed to speak during the dictation period.
    • After all words have been pronounced, participants may ask the proctors if they have any doubts.
  • Tie-Breaking Rules:
    • Judges may increase the complexity of the words and/or reduce the time limit in case of a tie.
    • Words will contain Achulu and Hallulu without Guninthalu.

Writing – Level II: గుణింతాలు

  • Test Content:
    • Twenty words (ranging from three to five letters) containing గుణింతాలు (Gunintaalu) will be dictated for participants to write.
  • Pronunciation Procedure:
    • Proctors in the room will pronounce each word three times.
    • Approximately 60–90 seconds will be allotted per word.
  • Participant Rules:
    • Participants are not allowed to speak during the dictation period.
    • After all words have been pronounced, participants may ask the proctors if they have any doubts.
  • Tie-Breaking Rules:
    • Judges may increase the complexity of words and/or decrease the time limit if a tie-breaker is needed.
    • Words will contain Guninthalu but no Ottulu.

Writing – Level III: ఒత్తులు

  • Test Content:
    • Level 3 students will be evaluated on their ability to write sentences containing Gunintaalu and Ottulu.
    • Sentences will vary in complexity and length.
  • Judging Criteria:
    • Participants will be judged on their writing accuracy and spelling proficiency.
  • Tie-Breaking Rules:
    • In the case of a tie, judges may provide additional sentences with increased complexity to determine the winner.
